Alión, Tempos Vega Sicilia 2021

The 2021 Alion is generous, approachable and busting with red fruit character. You get a real sense of a cooler, more restrained vintage here, though still possessing the very powerful Ribera core. Notes of kirsch, strawberry coulis and sweetly spiced fruit throughout. The palate is broad with a slight chiselled minerality here, some crunch and warm spice again. Finishing with a herbal note and fresh acidity. This is a bright and lifted vintage for Alion.
